1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Driftwood Angling website (the "Site") and any related services provided by Driftwood Angling ("we," "us," or "our"), including but not limited to fishing tournaments, gear shop, and lake rentals (collectively, the "Services"), you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use or access the Site or any Services.

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Changes become effective when posted on this page. Continued use of the Site following such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to check this page regularly.

2. Eligibility & User Conduct

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to use our Services. By using the Site, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

• Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Do not use the Site for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or disruptive purposes.
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and tournament/rental rules as described on respective pages.

We may refuse access, suspend, or terminate your account or participation in any Service for violations of these Terms or conduct we deem inappropriate, at our sole discretion.

3. Booking, Orders, & Payments

Our Services include booking tournaments, purchasing goods from our shop, and reserving lake rentals. All purchases and bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

• Prices are listed in local currency and may include applicable taxes and fees.
• We accept payment methods as described at checkout; full payment is typically required at the time of booking or order.
• It is your responsibility to provide accurate billing, shipping, and contact information.
• Orders and bookings are only confirmed when you receive a confirmation email from us.

We reserve the right to cancel any order or booking, refunding your payment, for reasons including suspected fraud, violation of these Terms, or product/service unavailability.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

We strive to offer fair and transparent cancellation and refund policies for all of our Services:

• Tournaments: Cancellations received more than 7 days prior to the event are eligible for a full refund. No refunds are provided for cancellations within 7 days or for no-shows.
• Lake Rentals: Cancellations up to 72 hours before arrival qualify for a full refund. No refunds for later cancellations or early departures.
• Shop Purchases: Returns of unused merchandise are accepted within 30 days of delivery. All returns are subject to our Privacy Policy and additional shop rules shown at checkout.

Refunds are processed within 10 business days of approval. Shipping fees are non-refundable. For details or to request a cancellation, please contact us directly.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site—including logos, text, graphics, photographs, icons, and software—is the property of Driftwood Angling or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

• You may access and use the Site solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, or sell any content, except as expressly permitted by these Terms.
• Our logo and branding may not be used without prior written permission.

6. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Driftwood Angling and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and partners disclaim all warranties, express or implied, related to the Site, Services, and content. We do not warrant that the Site or Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

• Participation in fishing tournaments, lake activities, or use of any purchased products is at your own risk.
• Driftwood Angling is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your access to or use of the Site, Services, or any content, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

7. Third-Party Services & Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Driftwood Angling. We do not endorse or assume responsibility for any third-party sites, content, products, or services. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk, and you should review their terms and privacy policies separately.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Driftwood Angling, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from and against all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from:

• Your access to or use of the Site or Services;
• Your violation of any part of these Terms;
• Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights.

9. Changes & Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site or any Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also terminate your access to the Site or Services for violations of these Terms or at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Site or Services will cease immediately.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Driftwood Angling is based, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms, the Site, or the Services shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located within our jurisdiction.
